Robert Evans
In the early 80's, screenwriter Robert Towne was supposed to direct his sequel to Chinatown as a middle part of a trilogy. Producer Robert Evans planned to also act and got the second Jake part. Due to conflicts between the two Roberts, the shooting was cancelled.
